From the Police Log: $40,000 Loss on Pelican Hill Road South, DUI Arrests, Vandalism Report

Newport Beach police took a report of $40,000 lost tennis bracelet in the 22700 block of Pelican Hill Road South on Friday, according to a report.

The incident occurred between 6:30 p.m. May 11 and 10 a.m. May 12, the report said.

A vehicle burglary was reported at Corona del Mar High School at 7:27 p.m. Saturday, according to a report. The burglary occurred between 6:45 and 6:50 p.m. with a loss of $600 and $200 in damage. Officers also took a report of vandalism at the Community Youth Center at 3000 Fifth Avenue at 3:31 p.m. Thursday, according to a report. The incident occurred sometime between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Thursday with $900 damage.

A 35-year-old Ladera Ranch man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 8:52 a.m. Sunday at Marguerite Avenue at Inlet Drive, a report said. His bail was $2,500. Police arrested a 41-year-old Capo Beach man at 2:30 a.m. Saturday on suspicion of DUI at East Coast Highway and Marguerite Avenue; his bail was $2,500. Police arrested a 29-year-old Huntington Beach man at East Coast Highway and Morning Canyon Road on suspicion of felony parole violation at 7:40 p.m. Sunday, according to a report.
