Cycling Safety Meeting Set For Monday Afternoon

The Newport Beach Bicycle Safety Committee will meet from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday in the Central Library Friends Room.
According to the meeting’s agenda posted online, the group will discuss current business including the Brown Act and offsite committee activities, bicycle improvements, sharrows in Corona del Mar and an update from the Newport Beach Police Department.
The committee also will consider items for future agendas including bike racks and a “Bicycle Incident Discussion,” the agenda states.
The meeting is open to the public, and members of the public may make comments.
