From the Police Log: Alcohol and Drug Arrests, Theft and Vandalism Reports

A 38-year-old Pasadena woman was arrested at 9:14 p.m. Saturday at Goldenrod Avenue and East Coast Highway on suspicion of narcotics possession, according to an arrest report. Her bail was $20,000.

Police arrested two people on Saturday in Corona del Mar on suspicion of DUI, reports show. A man, 69, from Aventura, Fla. was arrested at Fourth and Begonia avenues at 7:40 p.m. and a woman, 29, from Long Beach was arrested at 8:52 p.m. at Narcissus Avenue and East Coast Highway. Bail for each was set at $2,500.

Police arrested a 20-year-old Fullerton woman at 1:40 a.m. Sunday at Poppy Avenue and Ocean Boulevard on suspicion of public intoxication; no bail amount was given on the report. A 39-year-old Newport Beach man was arrested at 9:52 p.m. Saturday at Marguerite Avenue at East Coast Highway on suspicion of disorderly conduct while intoxicated; bail was $500. Police made an arrest after a “disturbance drunk” report at 8:37 p.m. Sunday in the 2300 block of East Coast Highway, the police online log states, but no other information was immediately available.

Police took a report of a theft from a vehicle at 101 Newport Center Drive at 5:32 p.m. Friday. The incident occurred between 1:45 and 1:50 p.m. Wednesday with a $300 loss. Police took a report of vandalism at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the 1800 block of Newport Center Drive. The incident occurred ten minutes earlier with $350 damage. And the police online log states that officers took a report after a grand theft occurred at 5:20 p.m. Sunday in the 3500 block of Pacific View Drive.
