Harbor View 4th Grader Wins Masters Golf Tournament

Local Corona Del Mar golfer and Harbor View fourth Grader Zane Weaver, 10, won the boys 9-11 year old division of the Junior Masters on Sunday. His score of 35 was good for a five-shot victory in the nine-hole event at the Lakes at El Segundo.
Zane previously has won several tournaments but has been focusing on soccer for the past two years. Despite zero trips to the driving range to practice the last two years and only an occasional practice round, his skill level and enthusiasm remains high. He looks forward to playing a few tournaments this summer.
The Junior Masters tournament was hosted by Good Swings Happen Junior Golf Academy.
