Newport Beach All-Stars Play Finals Tonight

Newport Beach Little League All-Stars will play a re-match against Laguna Hills at 6:30 p.m. tonight at Lincoln Elementary. Newport Beach hasn’t had an All Star team in the finals since 2002. The team lost its first game to Laguna Hills on July 1, forcing them into a must-win series of games. The team went on to win five games in six days, averaging 10.6 runs a game. The game today is free, and the public is welcome to come cheer the home team.
