Today, on my way to the Corona del Mar Residents Association board meeting at 7:15 a.m., I saw a neighbor helping another neighbor.
The man — no spring chicken, I might say — was across the street at another older man’s house, pulling the trash cans back to the side of the house within minutes of the trash guys going past.
I thought it was one of the nicest things I’d seen in my neighborhood in a long time.
