Reminder: Town Hall Meeting Tonight

The Corona del Mar Residents Association and Business Improvement District will host their Annual Town Meeting from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. tonight at Sherman Library & Gardens.

The event will begin with a half hour community expo, with refreshments and a chance to speak with representatives from city agencies including the library, recreation department, marine protection and water quality, code enforcement, Neighborhood Watch, Community Emergency Response Team or C.E.R.T. as well as civic groups including AirFair, the Newport Beach Film Festival, Newport Bay Naturalists & Friends and more.

A speakers program will follow, with the B.I.D. group presenting information on the proposed Corona del Mar entryway project at MacArthur Boulevard and East Coast Highway and an address by Mayor Nancy Gardner of Corona del Mar. The program also will include a tribute to the CdMRA, which is celebrating its Silver Jubilee this year, and Q&A opportunities.
