Dynamic Kitchen Showroom Shutters CdM Doors

Nine months after opening its doors, a high-end appliance showroom has closed its Corona del Mar business.
“I was paying rent for a place that was dead as a dodo,” said owner Surjit Kalsi. The business closed permanently on Dec. 15.
The showroom, said co-owner Swaneel Kalsi, “just didn’t work out like we had expected.”
The shop at 3641 East Coast Highway sold ranges of varying sizes, cooktops, wall ovens and barbecues. Kalsi created the first Viking Range and could be considered the father of the ultra high-end kitchen appliance, according to this website.
