Train to Vegas? NB Says Yes

The City of Newport Beach as well as the Orange County Transportation Authority and the cities of Anaheim/ Ontario have formally endorsed the California-Nevada Interstate Maglev Train Project, citing the project’s ability to reduce congestion, avoid the expansion of airports and freeways enabling efficient travel between the two states along I-15, and improve the environment. Mayor Ed Selich recently sent a letter to U.S. Transportation Secretary and the California congressional delegation expressing the city’s support.
