Newport Beach police took a report of a vehicle burglary earlier today in the 1100 block of Dolphin Terrace, according to online police logs.
Officers also made an arrest after a petty theft was reported at 10:48 p.m. Friday in the 700 block of Newport Center Drive, and they took a report of a grand theft that just occurred at 6:56 p.m. Friday in the same location, online logs state.
Officers made an arrest after a vehicle stop at 11:17 a.m. Friday in the 3400 block of East Coast Highway, online logs state. They made an arrest after a non-injury traffic collision at 11:20 a.m. Friday in the 8000 block of East Coast Highway. Officers also took a report of illegal peddling at Jasmine Avenue and Ocean Boulevard at 3:52 p.m. Friday.
A 34-year-old Bell Gardens man was arrested on suspicion of commercial burglary at 7:20 p.m. Thursday at 601 Newport Center Drive, according to an arrest report. His bail was $20,000. Police arrested a 53-year-old Huntington Beach man at 1:45 a.m. Thursday on suspicion of receiving known stolen property at 360 San Miguel Drive; his bail was $20,000.
Police took a report of battery at 5:58 p.m. Wednesday at 901 Newport Center Drive, a report states. They took a report of grand theft at 297 Newport Center Drive on Wednesday with a loss of $1,510, according to a report.
