Newport Beach police made several traffic stops late Monday and early Tuesday, as well as responding to a variety of other calls including:
*At 4:35 a.m., police received a report of a traffic collision at Goldenrod Avenue and East Coast Highway. No other details were available.
*At 3:30 a.m., a vehicle theft was reported in the 500 block of Poinsettia Avenue and was later canceled.
*at 12:09 a.m., a vehicle burglary was reported at Newport Center Drive and Newport Center Drive East.
*At 10:58 p.m., vandalism was reported in the 3200 block of East Coast Highway.
*At 10:31 p.m., a party disturbance was reported in the 600 block of Dahlia Avenue; officers issued a disturb/advise card.
*At 9:32 p.m. a hit and run misdemeanor was reported at Newport Center Drive and East Coast Highway.
*At 5:51 p.m., officers were called to keep the peace in the 400 block of Narcissus Avenue.
*At 5:26 p.m., there was a non-injury traffic collision reported at Goldenrod Avenue and East Coast Highway.
