From the Police Log: Thefts, Narcotics Arrest

A grand theft in the 400 block of White Cap Lane was reported Tuesday, according to a police report. The theft occurred between Oct. 20 and Nov. 23, and the loss was $1,595, the report said.
Police also took a report of a petty theft from a vehicle in the 500 block of Larkspur Avenue at 10:04 a.m. Tuesday. The theft occurred between Nov. 23 and Monday with a loss of $125, according to a report.
Police arrested a 38-year-old Irvine man at Begonia Avenue and East Coast Highway at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday on suspicion of possession of narcotics; bail was $20,000, according to an arrest report. Police also arrested a 33-year-old Newport Beach woman at 101 Newport Center Drive at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on suspicion of petty theft; bail was $500, according to a report.
