Summer Vacation Driving You Batty Yet? Newport Beach Offers Day Camp Options

Newport Beach has a summer day camp program for kids entering first through seventh grade, with highly trained counselors and regular field trips to theme parks, beaches and more.

Camp runs from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and costs $140 per week. You can register at City Hall’s recreation office or visit the camp website. Camps are based out of the Community Youth Center in Corona del Mar or the Balboa Community Center on the peninsula. Camps include weekly excursions to either a sporting event or theme park, plus bi-weekly walking excursions to Big Corona State Beach for CYC campers or daily beach activities for Balboa campers.
