NBPD Seek Public’s Help in Missing Woman Case

Newport Beach police are looking for a woman who was reported missing by a friend on Aug. 24, according to a news release.
Erika Lopez was last seen about 11 am.. Aug. 22 near Sherrington Place and Irvine Avenue in Newport Beach. Her friend reported her missing about 10 p.m. two days later.
Lopez is 24 years old, five feet tall and 115 pounds with shoulder-length brown hair, brown eyes and a thin build. She was last seen wearing a pink sweatshirt and white sweatpants.
The Newport Beach Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in attempting to locate this person. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Newport Beach Police Detective Scott Smith at (949) 644-3762.
