A summer resident of Corona del Mar submitted an official comment card, praising two Newport Beach maintenance workers for their upkeep of the Goldenrod footbridge.

A Newport Beach woman told police that while she was at Irvine Terrace Park last week, someone took her property from a table. The loss, according to a police report, was $21,717.41. The theft occurred sometime between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Thursday. No other details were immediately available.
