Nekter Headed to Oscars; Next Stop Is CdM

Soon Corona del Mar will have the opportunity to enjoy the fresh fruit smoothies and nectars that have taken Costa Mesa — and even the Oscars — by storm.
Nekter, which opened in Costa Mesa in October, will feature its green juice blends, raw nut milk smoothies and raw, gluten-free vegan snacks at a Paramount Studios celebrity gifting suite tonight as part of the Oscar pre-party events.
Owners Steve and Alexis Schulz also bring packages of their signature Nekter Cleanse, a one-day to five-day detoxification and reenergizing program that provides approximately 15 pounds of locally grown organic freshly pressed fruits and vegetables, according to a company statement.
Like the original location, the Corona del Mar Nektar Juice Bar features a menu with fresh fruit smoothies, acai bowls, juices and specialties such as agave lemonade and wheatgrass.
Nektar Juice Bar will open Tuesday at 2801 E. Pacific Coast Highway in the former CeFiore location.
