So what did happen on Marguerite Avenue? I heard someone was dead. Wouldn't the police blotter show something?

It was a suicide. I usually do not report suicides but I will this time because it is a story update.

I sometimes wonder if people who off themselves think about the long term effects it has on those around them. Personally, I would rather be burdened with knowing their problems and have been given a chance to help, than losing someone forever this way. My prayers to their family and friends who will be the ones left to carry this sorrow.

The person who committed suicide happened to be my uncle. I would normally not comment to these blogs but decided to set the record straight, especially for "Sandra". My uncle was long suffering from Parkinsons disease and knew it would soon take his life. He no longer wanted to burden his wife of 50 years of having to care for him as if he were a child. That is a VERY difficult thing for a man to endure. Our family lost a very great man who made a decision to leave this world with some dignity still intact. We love you Art.
