From the Police Log: Crashes, DUI Arrest

Several crashes, including one that injured a motorcyclist, were reported in the Corona del Mar area in the past 24 hours.
The injury crash occurred at 9:44 a.m. today at East Coast Highway and Newport Coast Drive when a motorcyclist lost control and crashed into the roadway. No other vehicles were involved, and the rider apparently broke a leg, police said.
Another crash was reported at 11:04 a.m. today at San Joaquin Hills Road at Marguerite Avenue; and another crash occurred at 9:12 a.m. today at East Coast Highway and Reef Point Drive. A crash occurred at the same location on East Coast Highway at 5:18 p.m. Thursday, and a crash at 4:25 p.m. Thursday was reported at Marguerite Avenue at East Coast Highway. In these crashes, no injuries were reported.
Police also arrested an 18-year-old Mission Viejo woman at East Coast Highway and Newport Coast Drive at 12:01 a.m. Thursday, according to a police report. She was booked on suspicion of DUI, and bail was set at $2,500.
