Felicitaciones, CDM Spanish Students

Corona del Mar High School student Katie McCormick has won an all-expenses trip to study in Spain this summer as the grand prize for an essay in a statewide contest, school officials have announced. Julien Crockett and Jack Mulcaire, both juniors, were finalists. The three students all take AP Spanish.
The Spanish Essay Contest was sponsored by the California Department of Education and the Consulate of Spain. More than 800 students from 100 high schools entered the contest.
