Harbor View Fifth Graders Complete Fire Safety Classes

Newport Beach Fire Department spent all week with Harbor View Elementary fifth graders, teaching them about fire safety, emergency preparedness and even how to deal with a rip current. The week’s lessons (which included homework for parents) ended with a visit from a fire truck, a question and answer session and each student receiving a pin and certificate.
