From the Police Log: Thefts, Vehicle Burglaries, DUIs

At least two vehicle burglaries were reported on Black Friday at Fashion Island, according to police reports.
One incident occurred between 5:30 and 7:40 p.m. Friday at 551 Newport Center Drive and was reported on Saturday, a report states. The loss was $1,270.
The other incident occurred between 4 and 7 p.m. Friday at 901 Newport Center Drive and was reported at 7:50 p.m. That incident resulted in a $1,665 loss.
A grand theft occurred between 7 and 9 p.m. Friday at 1017 Newport Center Drive, resulting in a loss of $500, reports state. And a petty theft with a loss of $29 was reported at 9 a.m. Nov. 23 at 180 Newport Center Drive, a report states.
Police arrested two people on suspicion of petty theft at 701 Newport Center Drive on Friday. A 64-year-old Irvine man was arrested at 1 p.m., and a Tustin man was arrested at 3:15 p.m. Bail for both men was set at $500 each.
Police also took a report of a grand theft at 8112 East Coast Highway at 12:21 p.m. Nov. 22 with a loss of $870, and they took a report of a boat burglary in the 1100 block of Bayside Drive on Nov. 21; the loss was $1,000. Officers took a report of vandalism causing $100 in damage at 3 p.m. Nov. 19.
A 35-year-old Corona del Mar man was arrested Nov. 23 at 6:20 a.m. on suspicion of grand theft. He was arrested and booked at the police station at 870 Santa Barbara Drive, and his bail was set at $20,000.
A 63-year-old Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at Acacia Avenue and East Coast Highway at 12:22 a.m. Friday; his bail was set at $2,500. A 40-year-old Newport Beach woman also was arrested on suspicion of DUI at San Joaquin Hills Road and Marguerite Avenue at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday; her bail was set at $2,500. A 47-year-old Newport Beach woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 4:20 p.m. Nov. 22 in the 400 block of Serra Drive; her bail was set at $2,500.
A 52-year-old Newport Beach man was arrested on suspicion of disturbing the peace at San Miguel Drive and MacArthur Boulevard at 4:20 p.m. Friday; his bail was set at $500. And a 29-year-old Garden Grove woman was arrested at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 24 at 1303 Avocado Ave. on a grand theft warrant with bail set at $43,000, reports state.
