1. Prom! OK, so this only works if you’re in high school (or are with someone who is) but Corona del Mar High School’s prom is at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda. If you’re too old for prom but still young at heart, there should be great people watching around town as the prom-attendees get dressed, do up their hair and head out for pre- and post-dance meals and parties.

2. Sale! Recycled Rags is holding its monthly Parking Lot Party from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday. IMG_0253 Clothes that haven’t sold in the past month or two will be marked down, and there will be free hotdogs, lemonade and coffee. Recycled Rags is located at 2731 East Coast Highway; (949) 675-5553.

3. Lakers! Head to Corona del Mar’s beloved sports bar, The Place, for Game Six — the Lakers at Denver. The Lakers lead the series, 3-2, and could finish things off tonight. The game begins at 6, but The Place will be mobbed, so get there early if you want a seat. The Place is located at 2920 East Coast Highway; (949) 644-0210.

4. Happy Birthday, Israel! The Merage Jewish Community Center of Orange County is holding a community-wide celebration to mark Israel’s 61st birthday. The event is free with free parking from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday and will feature games and food ($1 each) and a rock climbing wall as well as live entertainment by the Inlov Orchestra
and the Tzofim Friendship. The event will take place on the Samueli Jewish campus at One Federation Way in Irvine. Call (949) 435-3400 for more information.

5. More Live Music! The Jung Trio will perform at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Friends Room at the Central Library. The Jung Trio is comprised of sisters Jennie (piano), Ellen (violin) and Julie (cello). They’ve performed throughout the United States, Canada, as well as in Africa, Russia and South Korea. The concert is free with first-come, first-served seating. For more information, call (949) 717-3800, option 2, or visit the library website. The library is located at 1000 Avocado Ave.
