Newport Beach police took a report of a battery in the 600 block of Begonia Avenue today at 10:36 a.m., online logs state.

Officers also took a report of a non-injury traffic collision at 8:44 a.m. today at MacArthur Boulevard and East Coast Highway, logs state.

Police reports also state that a commercial burglary that occurred Tuesday morning at 1401 Avocado Ave. resulted in a loss of $142.
