Another Jewelry Shop Moving into Corona del Mar

A jewelry store appears to be preparing to open in Corona del Mar, replacing the Veldhuis Interior Design shop that closed its village shop last spring.
According to Newport Beach records, a business license was granted on Sept. 23 for a shop called Simon Bocage, a jewelry store located at 2737 East Coast Highway. Repeated calls to the telephone number listed on the city’s license record were unsuccessful in reaching the owner for information or comment.
Last week, jewelry designer Mark Patterson announced he would be opening a combination studio and flagship retail space for his platinum, diamond and custom pieces. Mark Patterson’s eponymous shop should open this fall at 3425 East Coast Highway; read our story here.
