A grand theft resulted in a loss of $2,795 Tuesday afternoon in Fashion Island, police reports state.
The theft occurred between 2:20 and 4 p.m. at a bedding store at 401 Newport Center Drive. No further details were available.
Police reports also state that a petty theft was reported on Canyon Crest in Corona del Mar sometime between 9:30 p.m. Monday at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The loss was $100, police reports state.
