From the Police Log: Arrest After Challenge to Fight

A San Clemente man was arrested at 11:58 p.m. Tuesday in the 1500 block of Avocado Avenue on suspicion of challenging someone to a fight in public, police reports state. The man’s bail was set at $500.
Police also assisted with a traffic collision at 7:51 a.m. today at East Coast Highway and Newport Coast Drive, online logs state. The collision involved city property and online logs indicate there were injuries, but no additional information was immediately available.
Officers also kept the peace after a call at 9:51 a.m. today in the 500 block of Orchid Avenue, logs state.
