From the Police Log: Grand Theft, Boat Burglary

A burglar stole $1,341 in property and caused $400 in damage to a boat in a slip in the 1300 block of Bayside Drive, police reports state. The burglary occurred sometime between June 7 and 11 but was not reported until Monday, the reports state.
A grand theft was reported in the 800 block of Newport Center Drive; the incident occurred at 12:15 Monday. Reports state that $536 was lost and then recovered, but no details were immediately available. And a thief took $60 in property from a vehicle in the 400 block of Isabella Terrace, reports state. The incident occurred between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Police logs also state that officers responded to a report of illegal peddling in the 1699 block of Marguerite Avenue at 7:46 a.m. today. At 3:28 p.m. Wednesday, officers assisted with a traffic collision on East Coast Highway at El Moro; and they received a report of road rage at 5:37 p.m. Wednesday at East Coast Highway and Reef Point Drive.
