Civic Center Open House Tonight

Newport Beach officials are hosting an Open House event between 4:30 and 7 p.m. tonight in the Friends Room of the Newport Beach Library at 1000 Avocado Ave. for anyone who has questions about the Civic Center project.
The project plans and exhibits will be available for review, and City Manger Dave Kiff and Public Works Director Steve Badum, along with contractors, will be there to talk with neighbors and other residents.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the project was held May 11, and since then trucks have been removing dirt and grading the site along Avocado Avenue.
