Newport Beach, Corona del Mar Flags at Half-Staff For Senator

Flags at the Corona del Mar Post Office, at the Newport Beach Police Department and throughout the city are flying at half-staff today to honor Senator Robert Carlyle Byrd, who died today at age 92. Byrd, a West Virginia Democrat, served longer than any other U.S. senator in the country’s history.
