Newport Beach police made a traffic stop at Pelican Hill Road and Pelican Hill Circle on Wednesday, which ended in an arrest, reports state.
A Chino man, 33, was booked on suspicion of receiving known stolen property after the stop at 10:29 a.m. The man’s bail was set at $20,000.
In other police news, officers arrested a 46-year-old Long Beach woman on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia, reports state. The woman was arrested at 11:55 a.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of Avocado Avenue; her bail was set at $5,000. And at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday, there was a theft report in the 1300 block of Keel Drive; $965 was lost.
At 11:09 a.m. today, police assisted with a keep the peace call in the 200 block of Goldenrod Avenue, online logs show.
