Studio Seaside Hosting Sale for Savannah’s Garden Charity

Studio Seaside at 3711 East Coast Highway is holding a resale fundraiser from 1:30 to 6 p.m. today to raise money for Savannah’s Organic Ranch, the studio’s co-owner said.

“We will be selling gently used kids clothing, toys, strollers, carseats, and more, and donating all proceeds to the wonderful Savannah’s Organic Ranch,” said Carissa Martin.

Savannah Sachen was 8 years old when she died of a rare heart tumor in 2007. She had wanted to be a farmer when she grew up, so her family began Savannah’s Organic Ranch one day after her death. The charity funds organic gardening projects in schools including Corona del Mar’s Lincoln Elementary School, which dedicated its garden last month. (Read our story here.)
