From the Police Log: Stolen Wallet, Keyed S.U.V.

Someone keyed a 2010 Ford Expedition parked in Corona del Mar, causing $2,000 in damage, according to a police report.

The vandalism occurred sometime between 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and 7 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of Iris Avenue, reports state.

Also last Wednesday or Thursday, a thief stole $105 from a 49-year-old Harbor City woman, reports state. The woman was in a needlepoint shop in the 2600 block of East Coast Highway when someone entered the business and took her purse from a zipped craft bag hidden under a table, the report states. The purse was moved to a desk, but the wallet and checkbook were stolen. The victim said someone fraudulently used her credit card later in Mission Viejo, the report states.

Police also arrested a 45-year-old Granada Hills woman on suspicion of DUI at 7:01 p.m. Saturday at Marguerite Avenue and Bayside Drive, reports state.
