One Response to “CdM Girl Scouts Sell Out Cookies in Two Hours”
Comments
Harbor View Elementary’s Girl Scouts sold nearly 200 boxes of cookies in two hours Saturday morning, with the popular Thin Mints vanishing the first half-hour and the rest going fast after that.
“They were gone, whoosh,” said Troop Leader Jan Parker.
Troops were taking turns selling cookies outside Gelson’s market. This is the last weekend to buy cookies until next year. Sales were up 30 percent from last year, Parker said. In Orange County overall, Scouting officials have said that sales are down 10 percent.
