Woman “Scared” After Home Break-In

A would-be burglar removed the screens from a Goldenrod Avenue home and attempted to open the windows, according to a police report.
A 43-year-old woman reported the attempted burglary, which occurred in the 400 block of Goldenrod Avenue sometime between 8:35 a.m. Thursday and 6 p.m. Monday, the report said. Nothing was taken from the woman’s home, and it appeared the suspect or suspects did not actually enter the home.
The police report described the victim as “scared.” Crime scene investigators returned to the home this morning, an online report said.
